Tempest Pony is a 2006 model grade pony mare who has been in the family since early 2007. She is supposedly a cross between a pony stallion and a Quarter Horse mare but who knows. Either way, she has a boatload of opinions and is only very lightly trained.

She is a huge pain to catch, which makes it difficult to do much with her, but if you’re lucky enough to get a halter and rope on her, she’s actually quite amiable, if a little skittish.

• Work on being caught easily and more consistently.
• Accept regular grooming and handling without too much fuss.
