Juliet is a 5/6 year old grade horse, most likely a Mustang and Quarter Horse mix, who actually belongs to my mom. She was sent to a trainer a few years back but has really been left out to pasture since then, but I’m hoping to get her to a place where she can be ridden more or less reliably again.
2020 Goals (in a progressive format)
- Be caught easily and groom/lead/handle calmly.
- Accept saddle and bridle without any fuss.
- Ride reliably at a walk/trot in the small pen.
- Yield to leg and rein aids correctly and consistently.
- Walk around the property calmly and safely.
- …and we’ll see what happens then!
